"Bursa Textile Show" Fair Opens Its Doors
'Bursa Textile Show' Fair, which will strengthen exports in the textile sector under the leadership of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), opened its doors for the first time. Nearly 350 business people from approximately 50 countries are participating in the 3-day fair within the scope of the Development of International Competitiveness Projects and Commercial Safari projects.
In Bursa, the textile capital of Turkey, BTSO continues its export offensive that will energize the sector. The fair, organized with the support of UTIB, will host its visitors at Merinos AKKM until November 16. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the fair, İbrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTSO, stated that they have organized 4 separate procurement delegation programs so far within the scope of the Textile Development of International Competitiveness Project. In addition to EU countries, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, foreign business people from far away countries such as Colombia, India, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Brazil and Canada are participating in the fair. The fair, where Bursa companies held more than 5 thousand business meetings with nearly 350 foreign buyers from 50 countries, paved the way for the formation of important collaborations.
Bursa Textile Show, organized by BTSO and bringing together the leading players of the sector in Bursa, received full marks from the participants and foreign visitors in its first year. At the fair, where more than 80 companies opened stands and exhibited their 2019-20 fall/winter fabric collections, Bursa's high quality products, which set the trend and fashion, attracted great interest from the visitors.
