Bursa Textile Show Exhibition which was organized for the first time last year by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) will be organized for the 2nd time at Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Center between 2nd and 4th of April.

Bursa Textile Show which brought together the leader players of the sector in Bursa is getting ready to open its doors for the 2nd time. At the exhibition which will be organized with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association, more than 80 firms will exhibit their 2020 spring/summer fabric and accessories collection. At the exhibition which will take place with the motto of “Let’s Meet in Bursa”, over 350 foreign business professionals will carry out bilateral business interviews with participating firms within the framework of two different Improvement of the International Competitiveness projects targeted at BTSO’s Commercial Safari Project and the textile sector itself.

BTSO’s President of the Board of Directors İbrahim Burkay mentioned that Bursa Textile Show was the first exhibition organized in a long time in the textile sector in Bursa and that the exhibition had brought great strength to the sector. President Burkay, remarked that the Production Development projects supported by the Ministry of Commerce and targeted at the textile sector led the preparation process of the exhibition, he also added: “The exhibition, which we had organized as a procurement committee program within the scope of our Production Development projects before, acquired an exhibition identity thanks to the meticulous works of our firms. Bursa Textile Show will continue to play a big role in helping Bursa textile sector, which has an export-focused vision, reach its goals.”

President Burkay reminded that the exhibition had received two thumbs up from participators and foreign visitors last year and added: “Bursa Textile Show has become an important platform where textile capital Bursa’s quality in production and design is exhibited. At the first exhibition we organized in the November of 2018, our firms from Bursa conducted over 5,000 business interviews with almost 350 foreign buyers from 50 countries. Our exhibition which succeeded in meeting the expectations of the sector, formed a basis for the establishment of important business and exportation connections.”

President Burkay expressed that, at the exhibition which will take place in Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Center, innovations in the sector and fashion-setting products of Bursa will be exhibited for 3 days. President Burkay also added that more than 350 foreign business professionals from over 40 countries (mainly from Russia, Ukraine and Serbia) would visit the exhibition in line with the demands of the participating firms.
