At the Bursa Textile Show Exhibition organized for the 2nd time this year which develops projects targeted at the export-focused growth of the sectors under the leadership of BTSO and with the supports of the Ministry of Commerce and Uludag Textile Exporters’ Association (UTIB), almost 90 firms exhibited their 2020 spring/summer fabric and accessories collection.
2,200 LOCAL AND FOREIGN VISITORS
At the exhibition which was organized within the scope of Production-Development projects activities in the textile and apparel fabrics sector of BTSO, nearly 400 foreign buyers from 40 countries such as Russia, Spain, USA, India, etc. had business interviews with the firms of Bursa. At the 3-day exhibition which 2,200 people visited, almost 5,000 bilateral business interviews were conducted.
“LODZ FASHION MEETINGS” INCREASED CO-OPERATION
Important representatives of the sector from Poland also came to Bursa for Bursa Textile Show. BTSO carried out bilateral business meetings within the framework of textile and apparel fabrics Production-Development projects in Lodz, Poland held with the title of “Lodz Fashion Meetings”. After this organization, BTSO united more than 20 firms from Poland with the companies of Bursa.
“THE JOURNEY WHICH STARTED WITH THE PROCUREMENT COMMITTEE BECAME EVEN STRONGER WITH THE EXHIBITION”
BTSO’s Vice President of the Board of Directors İsmail Kuş expressed that they had achieved an important organization which would increase the exportation of the sector in Bursa. İsmail Kuş stated that they united the firms of Bursa with companies they can trade with at B2 organizations conducted within the framework of Production-Development and Global Exhibition Agency projects. Kuş added: “Bursa Textile Show is an important organization conducted successfully by our Chamber. We held this organization which is embraced by our sector as a procurement committee the first time. This event which acquired an exhibition identity with the demand of our companies, helped increase the business volume of our firms. Our sector representatives found new business partners at this exhibition. As BTSO we will keep contributing to the export focused growth of our sectors.”
“THE SECTOR EMBRACED THE EXHIBITION”
Engin Alemdar, 39th President of the Profession Committee of BTSO stated that Bursa Textile Show had been extremely fruitful and added: “After 3 very busy days, we have completed our pride Bursa Textile Show with compliments and congratulations we received from hundreds of visitors who came to the exhibition. In a very short time our exhibition has become an organization which has a high brand value. We have received significant compliments from our foreign guests. The exhibition has pioneered the creation of an important business volume.” BTSO’s Assembly Member Yavuz Özdemir expressed that the firms got a chance to present their new creations to foreign buyers thanks to the exhibition and he added: “We have conducted interviews which were complementary to our customer visits we have carried out in different countries before.”
“WE SAW OUR CUSTOMERS FROM WORLD EXHIBITIONS IN BURSA”
İpeker Textile’s Member of the Board of Directors İhsan İpeker stated that Bursa Textile Show was an important organization bringing strength to the sector and he also added: “We have had the chance to strengthen our co-operations by coming together at Bursa Textile Show with numerous customers we met in the international exhibitions we participated in.” Sector representative Cemil Parlakay pointed out to the fact that the organization raised the bar with each passing year and added: “We invited customers from different countries to our organization this year. I believe our sector will reach a good business volume thanks to this exhibition.”
COMPLIMENTS FROM FOREIGN VISITORS TO THE TEXTILE OF BURSA
Sagar Raisinghan who joined the exhibition from UAE, Dubai expressed that it was his first time in Bursa and added: “Very nice textile products are being exhibited at the exhibition. We have received very good feedbacks from our business interviews.”
Silvia Maria Sanz who came to Bursa from Valencia, Spain reported that it was her first time in Bursa Textile Show and that she was very impressed with the exhibition. She also added: “It is a very successful boutique exhibition. Best textile producers of Bursa are exhibiting their products at this exhibition. I believe the products you ordered from here will receive great demand in the Spanish market. We keep coming to the exhibition in the upcoming years.”
“OUR CO-OPERATION WILL CONTINUE”
Yekaterina Peripkeviç who joined the exhibition from Belarus, Minsk stated: “I have observed that compared to the first exhibition, this exhibition has expanded massively and that there have been new participators. Our co-operation with firms of Bursa will go on.”
Firms exhibited their special design fabrics at the “Trend Field” during the exhibition. The 3rd of the Bursa Textile Show Exhibition will take place between 22nd – 24th of October at Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Center.
